OUR STANCE ON USING AI IN PUBLISHING

What we think about this new technology.

Fox has head tilted in question, illustrating the question of Who publishes with Argyle Fox Publishing.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the world of publishing. That said, Argyle Fox Publishing has a few policies and recommendations regarding its use.

We do not accept the following:

  • Manuscripts created exclusively by or with the assistance of AI
  • Illustrations, cover art, or other art created by AI to be used in books

We use or allow the use of AI in the following ways:

  • Spellchecking manuscripts
  • Brainstorming ideas for cover art or other art

What should you do if you used AI in your book and want to work with us?

  • Find your book’s original manuscript that was not touched by AI. Submit this for consideration. We will not work with manuscripts that were created or recreated through AI use.
  • If your art is AI-generated or enhanced, send those to us. We can submit those to your artist, which will help your artist understand your vision for your book.

What if you have a great idea for a story but don’t know how to write it?

  • Start writing. You just may surprise yourself!
  • Argyle Fox Publishing owner Daniel K. Brantley provides ghostwriting services. He helps people get their stories on the page every day. You can learn more about those by visiting The Southern Ghostwriter online.

“Argyle Fox Publishing took my (very) rough draft and turned it into an amazing story that flows so well!

I highly recommend Argyle Fox, and I hope they will have me back to work on the sequel of my book. Authors looking for a publisher that cares about you and your dream, look no further.”
