Basic Publishing Package
Fiction, Nonfiction & Children’s: $1,800
What does your investment provide?
All our authors receive the services listed below.
1. Custom Interior Design
Every element of your book’s interior gets designed and formatted specifically for your book. We do not use templates.
2. Custom Cover Design
Your book’s entire cover—front, back, and spine—gets created, just how you want it.
3. Editing
If you wrote a children’s book, a full edit is included with your package. Otherwise, your book undergoes a light editing process to correct spelling, grammar, or usage mistakes. (See Add-Ons for more in-depth editing services.)
4. Image Placement
Placement of up to 20 (fiction & nonfiction) or all (children’s) images in your book. Note: You must provide your images. (See Add-Ons to have us provide illustrations for your book.)
5. Physical & Digital Formatting
We format your book for paperback, hardback, and/or ebook publishing. (Note: picture books are not published in ebook format.)
6. ISBNs
Each version of your book receives a unique International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
7. Printing & Distribution
Your book is made available for purchase at more than 40,000 retailers and libraries.
8. Assistance
Argyle Fox Publishing provides ongoing support throughout your publishing journey.
9. Profits
Every penny your book earns goes directly to your bank account, via direct deposit.

Fiction/Nonfiction Editing: $350/10k words
Professional editing makes your book better. Through our editing process, we pull out all the tricks to make your story flow, so readers remain engaged. Not sure if professional editing is worth the fee? Email us 1,000 words of your book and we’ll show what our editing can do for your story—for free.
Children's Book Illustrations: $1,200
Having the perfect illustrations for your picture or early reader book is vital. Otherwise, your book will feel flat and—even worse—unprofessional. Don’t have a great illustrator? We’ve got you covered. Note: Realistic illustrations or illustrations for books that are longer than 32 pages incur additional fee.
Illustrations: $750+
Want some custom black-and-grey illustrations to sprinkle throughout your novel, nonfiction book, poetry collection, or middle-grade fiction? Let’s make it happen!
Copyright: $110
Your book is copyrighted the moment you write it. For that reason, many authors never file for an official copyright with the US Copyright Office. For those who do, we’ve created an easy-to-follow video that shows how. Rather have us do it? No problem!
Website Creation: $1,200
A professional website provides a unique way to engage with your readers. If you need help creating a website that is easy for visitors to use and easy for you to update, we’ve got you covered.
